COMMUNITY DONATIONS The May Court Community donations are awarded annually to a number of Registered Charities.  An application form should first be completed and this can be obtained by writing to the Gingham Door (address to be found under the 'contact us" section of this web site).  Once the form is completed it must be returned to the Gingham Door by December 1st in any year.  You will then be contacted after Christmas with a view to arranging an interview for some time in February.  Following this interview the committee will make its selections for that year and you will be notified in writing as to whether you have been successful during this year.  If you are not successful at this time you are welcome to re-apply for the next year. Barrie May Court Club has made recent donations to the following Registered Charities:  THE DAVID BUSBY STREET CENTRE, CHILDREN’S AID FOUNDATION OF SIMCOE COUNTY, SAMARITAN HOUSE COMMUNITY MINISTRIES RESOURCE CENTER, BARRIE FOOD BANK, SIMCOE COMMUNITY SERVICES FOUNDATION (BDASPN), BARRIE GOOD FOOD BOX. ELIZABETH FRY SOCIETY, CHRISTMAS CHEER , ROYAL VICTORIA HOSPITAL Funding in our community is also provided by way of: STUDENT AWARDS- Given to Barrie high school students showing exemplary achievement in academics and community service. Please note we are only able to offer this assistance to high schools in the Barrie area (North Barrie to Innisfil - Nantyre Shores).  Also, please do not contact us directly, the counsellors at your school will have all the information and application forms. INDIVIDUAL REQUESTS - Applications are usually made to the Request Review Committee by a social worker for funding required by those persons in need of medical aids and other basic needs.
