May Court Club of Barrie
May Court Club of Barrie, established in 1970, is a
volunteer organization of diverse, dedicated women
committed to helping those in need in Barrie and the
surrounding area. Consisting of over 125 members,
this Club is a branch of the the oldest volunteer
association in Canada, the May Court Club founded in
Ottawa in 1898 by Lady Aberdeen. May Court Clubs
have been established in 9 Ontario cities.
The maxim DEO REGI VICINO - God, King,
Neighbour - embodies the Club’s vision statement,
which is to provide direct service to various groups as
well as financial assistance to individuals and
charities in need.
